Team GamersLeague have agreed with the Norwegian company Mamoz.no on a sponsorship deal to strengthen both GamersLeague and Norwegian e-sports in general.

Mamoz.no is a norwegian based computer store with focus on both desktops and laptops, tech support and gaming. They are based in trondheim, but ships all over the country.

Together, GamersLeague and Mamoz.no will try to promote e-sports in Norway by hosting tournaments on a regular basis, and with help from Mamoz.no Team GamersLeague will be showing up at even more events.

Fnatic and RaidCall team up for their first StarCraft II Invitational Cup. And the first 8 players have been announced!
Amongst the first 8 players in whats soon to be 16 we found our verry own

GLSnute. He will take part in this tournament starting next week after returning from Nemean LAN.

We have invited 16 of Europe's best players, who will play in a Single Elimination bracket for the total prize fund of $1,500. Each match all the way up to the final will be played in a Best of Three format, whereas the final will be a Best of Five.

The tournament will run from February 28th through March 2nd. Players in the upper half of the bracket will play their matches on 28th, while players from the lower half will do the same on the 1st of March. The semifinals, third place match and the final series will be played on March 2nd. All matches will be casted by Thomas "Khaldor" Kilian.

The Global Challenge at Campus Party in Sao Paulo will be the fifth event of the global league of the Intel Extreme Masters. As GLSnute is there to compete for GamersLeague, we will keep all our followers updated as best we can.

Unfortunately the tournament ended in the group play for our boy Snute. However, he put up a good fight and has surely gained many new fans around the globe for his character and performance this week in São Paulo. Placing third in a group with LiquidRet, RoXKiSsLivko and DakkoN, Snute has shown that it is only by very small margins that he is able to be on the very top level.

The Global Challenge at Campus Party in Sao Paulo will be the fifth event of the global league of the Intel Extreme Masters. Sixteen StarCraft II players will clash in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from February 6th to 12th, for a total prize money of $21,000!

The IEM Season VI - Global Challenge Sao Paulo is a StarCraft2 tournament which takes place in Sao Paulo, Brazil on February 6th to 12th. The tournament is the sixth event in the 6th season of the ESL's Intel Extreme Masters series. 16 qualified players will compete in a $21,000 tournament and for the chance to earn an invite to the Season VI World Championship.

For the first time in its six years history Intel Extreme Masters will move to South America. The Campus Party Brazil will be the host of the Global Challenge Sao Paulo in early 2012.

Statement from GL.Snute:
This will be my first IEM and I'm really looking forward to it! As many people know, I lost the decisive round in the qualifiers against mouzbiGs because it was getting late and I didn't perform my best. Luckily, I was asked to replace one of the koreans and what could have been a better event for me? A lineup packed with zergs, a few terran and almost no protoss. Pretty much perfect! The travel is gonna be long but it does'nt matter. The flights are booked and I'm ready for Brazil! Fighting!

Nemean has since its inception in 2006 organized a non-profit LAN in Kyrksæterøra, ten miles south of Trondheim. This year's Nemean will accommodate close to 300 people, and one of the most ambitious StarCraft II tournament in Norway this year. Nemean will also hold tournaments in Counter-Strike: Source, FIFA12 and Trackmania.

In co-operation with SC2.no, Nemean held two qualifiers for entry in the StarCraft II-tournament, and GamersLeague managed to get two players into the tournament: GL.Snute and GL.Skruffy. From our TrackMania team, GL.NaaX will also be attending Nemean.

Nemean 2012 will be held from February 22. until February 26. and will have the following prizes:

I played the second qualifier for Nemean 2012 where 32 players attended and top 4 would get a spot in the final tournament at Nemean. I'm really happy that I managed to qualify, even with the fact that two of matches were ZvZ which is where I need the most practice. After qualifying I'm going to practice a lot and do my best at the finals, and hope to give a good show for everyone who is going to watch smiling

A new season of SC2CL is here and GamersLeague will be attending with 2 teams this time! The main team will be playing in the masters division against some of the top teams out there while this season will be the first real test for our female team!

Team GamersLeague has been taking part in the SC2CL for 3 seasons and we have played our way to the top division this season. With 3 seasons and only 2 lost matches behind us we feel more than ready to face the bigger teams. This season we have the best lineup so far and our players are well motivated for the tasks at hand.

A new addition for this seasons SC2CL will be our new female SC2 squad that was formed last year. They have been training and preparing for this and will hopefully leave a mark in the SC2 scene as a solid sqad of female gamers.

As the league kicks off we in GamersLeague will do what we can with weekly updates and streams will be up when opponents allow it. GamersLeague TV

Format:

Map pool and Brackets will be released publicly after all players have been announced.

Starting this weekend ClanBase will be hosting a nationwar cup in Starcraft 2 and several other games. As many of our players are also playing for the Norwegian national team we will be doing our best to keep everyone uppdated on what goes on there.
